Frequently asked questions
Does it work on a form that is not fillable?
Yes. Real form fields are used when the PDF has them. When it does not, boxes and lines drawn on the page are detected instead, and you can also click any blank area to type there.
Will the downloaded form still be editable by someone else?
No. Your answers are flattened into the page on download, which keeps them from moving or being cleared. Keep the blank form if you will need to fill it again.
Can I sign the form as well?
Yes. Use the Signature tool in the same editor before you download.
Why was a box not detected?
Detection on flat forms reads the lines drawn on the page, and unusual layouts are sometimes missed. Click the spot and type; the text goes where you click.
Can I fill in a scanned paper form?
Yes. You type on top of the scan. The scan itself is not changed.
Which forms may I fill in?
